What People Say

“Thankfully, one of the first things I did after my appointment as Honorary Consul for Australia in Florida was to join the Consular Corps College. In retrospect, it was the best decision that I could have made. Through the reasonable cost of membership, I received training in the art of diplomacy; was offered education regarding the legal aspects of consular duties and responsibilities; and, maybe most importantly, provided invaluable opportunities to create meaningful relationships with fellow Honorary Consuls and Consul Generals throughout the country. I am now serving in my seventh year of service to the nation of Australia, and any success that I can claim is in large part due to my affiliation with the College. This testimonial is submitted in grateful appreciation to an organization that ranks high in my list of ‘essential tools of the trade’ for members of the Consular Corps!”

“Joining the Consular Corps College (CCC) was the most prudent decision I made back in 2015 when I first was appointed Honorary Consul. I had no foreign service training and the education provided by CCC has gone beyond my expectations. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I am given access to ambassadors, diplomats, and State Department officials to whom I would have not had access otherwise. The CCC has given me insights into aspects of diplomacy that I wouldn’t necessarily have expected. It’s an amazing organization for people starting out in the foreign service, consular relations and diplomacy. But I also think it can be a refresher for people who have been in diplomacy for a long time, who now may need to learn new methods of communication and thinking. The CCC returns 100X the small investment in support, networking, training, and access to tools for the consular officer and diplomat.
