Appointed Honorary Consul-General of Japan at Las Vegas on November 1, 2008 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tokyo, Japan

  • Serve with the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco for the State of Nevada

  • Re-appointed November 1, 2013 and November 1, 2018

  • Current term valid until October 31, 2023

Ongoing mission to further advance and strengthen Japan-U.S. relationships through grassroots efforts and support the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco and the Embassy of Japan in Washington D.C.

  • Increase understanding of Japan among Nevada residents and visitors

  • Promote mutual understanding and exchange between Japan and Nevada through education, cultural exchange, investment and trade

  • Be a conduit for the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco to provide care to Japanese nationals and corporations in Nevada

  • Raise the profile of Japan in Nevada through public diplomacy and cultural outreach
